The fresh seafood stores can be packed and most of them are value for money (compared to those expensive yet not fresh ones you eat back home). We see a good mix of locals as well as tourists that feast themselves to the umami taste (savoury).
Sushi Zanmai is famous here. They have a few outlets including Shinjuku as well if you do not want to queue up so much.
Many outlets at the Outer Market which are good and cheap compared to the more famous ones. Many locals cramped here to feast.
The nearest hotels that you may stay around to get to the fish market early will be in Tsukiji, Ginza or Ropponggi. Try go before they shift to another new site without the historical feel. Find more rooms near Tsukiji FIsh Market!
Check out Tsukiji before the place shifts to newer location..
